Why Finding Yourself if So Important

Have you ever found yourself trying to figure out how to change the trajectory of your work and life? Things aren't necessarily bad, but they sure aren't fulfilling. And yet, you're left feeling confused, overwhelmed and a bit anxious about not being able to figure out what move to make next. Is it a new job? A whole new career? Or just an extended vacation?

Here's the thing. No one has the answer to what's right for you except you. And that can scare the bejeebers out of most people because they're pretty sure they don't have the answer. At least not the "right" one.

We put a tremendous amount of pressure on ourselves to get things aligned "just right" so often in our lives, and yet many of us don't have access to a guiding compass that will help us know if we're headed in the right direction for ourselves.

That's because at the core of it, many of us really aren't in touch with who we are.

In this week's blog, I start to examine why it's so important to take time to really know yourself, in the deepest, truest sense. I also share a few tips and thoughts on how to get started.
