NextGroup Grows to Meet Demands of an Evolving Workplace

NextGroup is excited to announce an expansion of the firm to meet the needs of professional women in transition and of employers who need their talents to compete.  The “great resignation,” labor shortages and decreased employee morale are all evidence that companies must be both creative and intentional to build the diverse, high performing teams they desire.  NextGroup’s mission is to connect talented women to these employers.
NextGroup, launched in 2019 by four women in Evanston, is both a community of female talent supporting one another in the workplace and a boutique search firm exclusively focused on connecting experienced female talent with the employers who need them.  NextGroup provides support and programming to more than 2,500 women who are advancing, pivoting or returning to the workforce.  And, they match these women with employers seeking full-time, part-time and contract talent.
According to Managing Director Candance Chow, “NextGroup’s growth is responding to increased demand from both the female talent we serve and the employers who want and need them. “We have helped both nonprofit organizations and businesses hire more than 30 women already this year in part-time, full-time and contract roles, and we are just getting started,” said Chow. “We are so excited to have three amazing new team members to help us expand our services both locally and nationally.”

“NextGroup is the only search firm I know that invests time and resources in working with our talent even after they are hired,” says Wright. “We have their back as they adjust to a new role, and this improves their success in the role – good for them and their employer.”
