Born in India, raised in Cincinnati, daughter of immigrants, wife of 25+ years, Gen X mom of two Gen Zs, and fellow Kellogg MBA, Kalpana Waikar is fierce in her entrepreneurship and spreading her love of Indian cooking in Evanston and globally!
Kalpana launched her business in 2019 as a subscription meal service that quickly expanded to hundreds of customers in more than 30 states. Being fierce and all, she didn't stop there but opened a storefront in Evanston just when other businesses were shuttering due to the pandemic. Kalpana now promotes products wholesale, direct to customer and via cooking classes, programs and events. Prof. Kotler would be so proud of her marketing channels prowess.
