Happy Fierce Woman Friday! Today our cofounder Candance Chow writes:
"Gail Holmberg is a consummate supporter, advocate and networker (in the positive way, not superficial). Gail is no doubt extremely busy as a managing director with Fortium Partners and board leader for several nonprofits and entrepreneurial companies. But since meeting her as a fellow mentor for the women's mentoring co-op with Chicago Innovation, I have been amazed by the way she always makes time and space to help others and especially other women. She has connected me personally with several other women who are looking to make career shifts or changes. All of these introductions take time and effort. She also recently asked me to speak with early career professionals with the Turnaround Management Association about the value of authentic networking and relationship development for career advancement. I don't know how she does it all, but she does. I just wanted to take a moment to recognize Gail as the Fierce Woman she is! Thank you, Gail, for all you do for other women!"
